Safety.

• Each cake recipient has been forwarded to Cakes2Love through an established and reputable organization, primarily Oakville Meals On Wheels. 

• We are unable to accommodate food allergies or other dietary restrictions.  

• Candles are never given with the cakes for safety reasons. 

• Visits are only allowed if the cake recipient and volunteer baker have both been fully vaccinated for Covid-19. 

• The Ontario Donation of Food Act, 1994 protects anyone donating food to another person in good faith, as they are not liable for damages caused by the consumption of the food. However, to ensure complete protection for our baking volunteers, we carry liability insurance.

• Volunteers must provide us with a Police Check completed within the past 6 months.
